RE: Ofsted Inspection November 2023
As you are aware we had an aligned Ofsted inspection between 7-9th November, which inspected both our Education and Residential Provision. Our School Education inspection remained the grading as ‘Good’ and I am pleased that during the inspection they were able to identify our school as being a welcoming and inclusive community, recognising the ‘positive relationship between staff and pupils throughout the school.’
Our Residential inspection received the grade of Outstanding in all areas inspected, which recognises the hard work and commitment of our Residential team. Inspectors reported that, ‘Children receive highly individualised and excellent support’ where ‘the experience, dedicated and skilled staff forge strong relationships with children. Interactions between children and staff are natural and warm, filled with high regard and genuine compassion.’
As a staff team we are committed to ensure the values of our school. Supporting kindness to everybody, offering a curriculum that allows students to be aspirational, which helps build their resilience and independence, whilst offering a fun and safe environment.
I am delighted to share this and we are lucky to have a dedicated team who work hard to support the students, both in our Education and Residential Provision.
