Reporting a Pupil Absent

To report a pupil absent, please phone the school on 01263 578 144 and follow the instructions.  Alternatively, you can email the office at office@sidestrandhall.norfolk.sch.uk.  Please be sure to leave the following information:

  • Pupils name
  • Class
  • Reason for absence
  • When you expect pupil to return
Poorly Children

If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, please remember they need to stay at home for 48 hours after the last  episode



All pupil transport is arranged through Norfolk County Council.

If you have any transport related enquiries, please phone Passenger Transport at Norfolk County Council, 0344 800 8020.

School Closures

School closures will be posted on the Norfolk School Closures Site
