NSPCC Share Aware!

KEEPING CHILDREN SAFE ONLINE

The NSPCC have teamed up with O2 to help parents teach their children to be Share Aware.   It can be hard to keep track of what children and young people are doing on social networks, apps and games.  Just like in real life, kids need help to stay safe online.

The NSPCC offer these tips to help adults and parents start the conversation

1.  Explore sites and apps together and talk about concerns.
2.  Talk about personal information and what to share online.
3.  Ask the child if they know how to stay safe online.
